Bosnia. 1917. Issued to mark the three-year anniversary of the assissination of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife. Assissination was the proverbial straw that turned European tension into World War I. Somber series, issued at a time when war was still raging and would for another year.
The complete set in this series is posted. Were among stamps in a circa 1935 stamp album I got in junior high/high school.
Sidenote: Have modest fascination with World War I. The end of the old world and start of the new. Airplanes, mustard gas and flame throwers
